Thursday, April 17, 2025. One day before Easter. A day that's now marked on our calendar—with hearts, stars, and all the trimmings. Because: Our van is here!

The Tourne Mobil 6.4 we've been waiting for so long has finally found its place on our doorstep—and in our hearts, too. Even at first glance: goosebumps! The color? Expedition Grey—perfect for our travels. 180 hp, automatic transmission—it lets us roll confidently through Europe. And then there's the equipment! We're really a little bit in love...

The equipment – or: “When a van can do more than some hotel rooms”

What can we say? Our Bäri is everything we could have wished for —and a little more:

  • Clesana WC – let's say it like it is: no more chemicals, no more campsite stress.

  • Maxxfan roof fan – for a fresh head and comfortable sleep, even when the sun is burning.

  • 300 Ah lithium battery with app control – Power? We have it. Always. Everywhere.

  • Outdoor shower – for us, the dogs, or spontaneous refreshment in the middle of nowhere.

  • Rear ladder – ready for adventures & viewpoints.

  • Stands Skylord Sibiria headlights – as if we had installed the Northern Lights.

And that's just a sample... We still can't believe how well thought out this vehicle is. Everything in its place. High-quality. Practical. And yet with a great deal of feeling.

Thanks!

At this point , a huge thank you to the team from

Libero Autopark in Tägerwilen . You were there for us from the very beginning, patiently listening to our wishes, advising us, inspiring us and ultimately making possible exactly what we wanted: a van that feels like a home rather than a vehicle .

Your service wasn't just professional—it was warm. And that's priceless. Thank you for your honesty, your expertise, and for sharing our excitement. You made our dream come true. Truly.

And then… the Thurgau Road Traffic Office.

So: Our Tourne was ready. We were too. Only... the office, not quite. First, yes. Then again, no. Then something like: "We still have to check." Then again, yes – but with a question mark. Honestly: If bureaucracy were an adventure, the Thurgau Road Traffic Office would definitely have its own Netflix series.

Don't get us wrong—we know they're just doing their job. But a clear line , a straight line instead of zigzagging —that would be something. A little more "road trip spirit" in the office certainly wouldn't hurt.

In the end, it worked out – and Bäri is now officially allowed to go out on the street.

Conclusion: We are ready!

The van is here. The dogs are ready. This April day was a huge step toward freedom, nature, and life on the road.

We're happy. On tour. And so ready.
