Week 5 – between rally, Lisbon and the feeling of freedom

Milo's weekly review: From beach paws to anchor graveyard
Hello, I'm Milo. The one with the long ears. Since November 2nd, 2025, I've been on a big European tour with my little sister Mooi. And quite honestly: I love it. But week four... that was something else. We started in Cádiz , an old port city in the far south of Spain with around 115,000 inhabitants. Lots of narrow streets, lots of history. For me, the most important thing was sand between my toes and the sea right outside the parking lot. We were parked right on the beach

Week 3 – Freila, sunshine and a satnav with humor
Week three felt like arriving. Like a rhythm was slowly taking hold. No more racking up miles every day, but taking each day as it comes. Coffee, a view of the landscape, a first walk with the dogs. That's exactly how the week started in Freila. A small village above the Negratin reservoir. Quiet, warm, a bit like a mini version of the Grand Canyon. We sat outside, had breakfast, and did a few hours of office work. This is what makes working on the road enjoyable. Frühstück i

We were on tour again – short, but intense.
It was only a weekend, but once again very educational: This time our journey took us from Lake Constance along country roads towards Göschenen – with a stop in Schwyz and other small towns. We deliberately avoided the motorway, opting instead for more impressions. Destination: the Tourne Mobil Switzerland meeting . 3. Tourne Mobil Treffen Schweiz And yes, it rained. But it wasn't so bad – quite the opposite. These kinds of "extreme situations" are the perfect test for us.

November 2, 2025 – We're off!
Today was the day. After all the months of preparation, packing, letting go, and organizing – today we really left Romanshorn. Early Sunday morning, our colleagues came by, along with friends and loved ones who had been with us over the years. It was a quiet but heartfelt farewell. No big fuss, no loud "Here we go!" Just genuine hugs, tears, a few last words of advice, and that warm feeling of being supported. We stood there – in front of the van, in front of "Bäri," our new

Week 2 – locked out, on the road and a dog resort
The second week already feels much more familiar. We're in a rhythm, no longer stuck in one place, and seem to be cruising more easily through Spain. The landscape is constantly changing: orange groves, mountains, wide plains. And right in the middle of it all are the two of us, Milo and Mooi, and our Bäri. A highlight was the dog-friendly campsite in Ondara. A place that doesn't just tolerate dogs, but takes them seriously. Large off-leash areas, agility courses, plenty of s
