We were on tour again – short, but intense.

It was only a weekend, but once again very educational: This time our journey took us from Lake Constance along country roads towards Göschenen – with a stop in Schwyz and other small towns. We deliberately avoided the motorway, opting instead for more impressions. Destination: the Tourne Mobil Switzerland meeting .

And yes, it rained. But it wasn't so bad – quite the opposite. These kinds of "extreme situations" are the perfect test for us. With two dogs on board, every rainy day automatically becomes a challenge. But our van is superbly equipped: the toilet and shower were quickly converted into a drying room. Works perfectly!
Saturday's plan was no driving, but hiking. For us, it was almost mountaineering – for our dogs, a piece of cake. We were rewarded with a highlight: marmots in the wild. After seeing moose, reindeer, and foxes in Sweden, it was a completely different, but equally adorable, encounter in the Swiss mountains.
The weather remained changeable, but it was warm enough for a cozy campfire in the evening. All the participants stood together, warmed themselves by the fire, and shared stories. Our dogs? Completely relaxed and asleep in the van.
All in all, a thoroughly successful event. A big thank you to the organizers Gerry and Michi – we'd love to be back again next year!
